Services

I am available for freelance work, as well as potential full-time employment opportunities.  Consider getting in touch with me if:
  • You need personal or a small business website designed.  While I spend most of my days promoting websites rather than designing them, I can work with you to create an original and expressive website, that’s also functional search engine friendly, and appropriate for it’s target audience.  Getting your new website off the ground may also involve various promotional techniques to rank well in search engines and bring in visitors.  A well-integrated website can mean the difference between “build it” and “build it the right way and they will come.”
  • You have a website, but you’re not sure it’s good enough for your purposes, or if it’s reaching its full potential.  A ‘website audit’ can help you figure it out if your website needs major restructuring or if you simply need to be better integrated into the online community.  Together, we can figure out whether a renewed commitment to SEO, an Adwords PPC campaign, or a combination of strategies is right for your business.  For example, if you run a restaurant or a spa, a link to your Yelp.com reviews page can boost customer confidence, and lead to more positive reviews.
  • You have something specific that you want done, whether it be integrating a blog into your website, a small graphics job, or something else.
  • You are a small business owner who has a question about their website, or about doing business on the internet in general, and don’t have anyone to ask.  Perhaps you’re not sure if your website is ‘good enough’ or are even wondering whether you need a website at all, don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.  I don’t pretend to know everything about internet marketing, but I can promise to give you my honest opinion, and at the very least give you some feedback.
Note: I strongly believe in sound and ethical practices when it comes to internet marketing, as well as a personalized approach for every client.  Your website copy is more than just an opportunity to insert extra keyword phrases for SEO purposes, and your reputation is just as important as your Google rankings, if not more.  When it comes to link-building, it’s quality first, quantity second.  I’d much rather have a handful of quality links from relevant and reputable websites, than a thousand links from link exchange pages, irrelevant websites, or directories that nobody visits.
